Hi! I'm Lisa Salido.
I'm a user experience strategist, architect & product manager.
I started my career in Journalism. Researching, interviewing real people, and creating engaging multi-media stories that would captivate and enlighten audiences. But as a forever optimist, the heaviness of the topics became too much. I wanted to help people and bring them positive experiences. This is when I found UX.

I put my researching, interviewing and storytelling skills into creating online experiences that help users and my clients achieve their goals. I fell in love with finding clarity and simplicity from complex challenges. No challenge is too messy. I'll find a way to turn the chaos into simple and enjoyable experiences for users.
Every project and every process is different. Here's my approach.
RESEARCH
All projects start with research. I do a combination of qualitative and quantitative research to understand the business, the industry, competitors, and users.
Research allows me to make informed decisions and create smarter strategies.

IDEATE
Whether I'm working solo or in a cross-functional team of developers, designers, strategists or stakeholders, ideation is always an important step.

I use design thinking techniques to bring new ideas.
ARCHITECT
Whether I'm architecting a wireframe, a new informational structure, or a new content strategy, constructing it with care and keeping the strategy at the forefront is of utmost importance.
TEST & ITERATE
No matter how great the product is, we need to test on real users. Watching users interact with the product, collecting real data and testing is the only way to know if you actually hit the home run you thought you did.
And if it isn't there yet, iterate until it is.
